Fast tracking a project to production and what pitfalls to avoid – Striking the Balance:

The Copper Mountain Mine is Canada's Newest Major Copper Mine, commencing production in the summer of 2011. The current resource base is approximately 5 billion pounds of copper and the corporate goal is to become a mid tier copper and precious metal mine that will produce over 100 million pounds of copper per year. British Columbia hasn't commissioned a mine of this size since 1997, and the economic impact of its opening is extremely positive for the local town and province.

Jim O'Rourke will discuss key considerations to fast track a mining project successfully.

The major aspects will be reviewed in the context of the Copper Mountain Project Experience including: timing, political, resource, commodity, management, social, environmental, technical, location, infrastructure, capital cost, human resources, and financing.

Dear Colleague:

Mineral exploration expenditures in British Columbia and the Yukon Territory, have reached a historical record high. This creates a spectacular opportunity for investors who are not afraid to undertake new ventures to expand existing businesses and industries, thereby creating wealth from the exploration and monetization of these formerly stranded resources.

Insight Information has organized a comprehensive event and assembled a select group of government and industry leaders and experts to help conference participants to understand what they must do in order to be successful. All the presenters are well known on the resource scene and will be sharing their insights into what it is that defines the Region's resource sector, and more importantly, how one can participate in developing its resource endowment. Participants will also hear from companies presently involved with the exploration and development of those resources and will learn about the general economic, regulatory, and financing environment related to resource projects in the Region.

Conference attendees will be able to address their questions and comments formally to presenters during sessions and informally during networking breaks. Attendees will also be provided with information binders to assist their assessment of opportunities and to build their network of contacts.

We invite you to join us at this defining British Columbia and the Yukon resource event!

Yours truly,

Gavin Dirom
