Paul Temple

Paul Temple is Senior Vice President, Regulatory & Strategic Affairs at Pelmorex Media Inc. As part of the senior management team at Pelmorex, Paul’s responsibilities include government and regulatory matters involving the CRTC, Copyright Board, and various federal government departments as well as the company’s public safety and alerting initiatives. Paul is also involved in business development initiatives at Pelmorex. Prior to joining Pelmorex, Paul was with Rogers Cablesystems where he had senior management positions in a variety of disciplines including operations, regulatory affairs, engineering, product development, customer service and call centers. Spanning a 30 year career in the broadcasting industry, Paul has held a number of industry positions including the boards of directors of the Canadian Association of Broadcasters, the Canadian Cable Television Association, and Canadian Cable in the Classroom, the later as founding Chair. Paul has served on various government committees and task forces dealing with broadcasting, public alerting and critical infrastructure matters including representing Environment Canada on the World Meteorological Organization Expert Team on Media Relations and on Heritage Canada’s Task Force on the Implementation of Digital Television. Paul is a graduate with an Honours BA [History & Political Science] and an MBA, both from the University of Toronto.
